ABOUT HOLLY HARDIN
Hardin's Southwind Taekwondo Chief Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt, Holly Hardin, was born into a martial arts family. Her father, Grand Master Robert Hardin helped her earn her first Black Belt at the age of six. Even at a very young age she was a valuable member of his teaching staff at the Taekwondo school he opened in Nashville in 1982.
She taught classes regularly until moving to Memphis to take over another CTF Taekwondo program at The Memphis Jewish Community Center in 1997. She maintained an immensely popular youth Taekwondo program there until 2013 when the opportunity to expand her present program and open her own school presented itself.
Through the last seventeen years teaching at the MJCC and in partnership with The Germantown Parks and Recreation Department and at other area schools and youth-oriented programs, Ms. Holly has fostered a close relationship with the children and parents of the Germantown area. The skills she teaches her students along with the discipline and inspiration she provides help her students to achieve their goals and improve their ability to become assets to the community. Several of her students have listed her and her Taekwondo program on their college entrance letters as the main factor in their scholastic and athletic achievements. She is very excited with the opportunity to focus her efforts into continuing to grow her program, and inspire and encourage her students.
